Constructed in 2005, Mary's Shelter - Gulf Coast is a 19-room facility designed specifically for the purpose of housing pregnant women and their children. There are eight resident suites, each with a private bath and walk-in closet. The communal kitchen, dining area, and living room are used by all the residents. There is also a resource room with two computers, internet access, and a telephone for the use of the residents. There is an indoor play area and a spacious fenced yard with swings and other outdoor toys for the toddlers and pre-schoolers.
