Become a Guardian Angel!
As a caring home for women who choose life for their unborn child, Mary's Shelter has all the bills of a typical household with children. In addition to these household bills, we also have the expenses of a business that operates 24/7! At the present time, our average monthly expenses total about $29,000.
A caring group of people, our Guardian Angels, help us meet those financial obligations in a special way. They are people who have pledged to provide a reliable, ongoing source of revenue by donating on a regular basis, monthly or otherwise, in whatever amount they can afford. Through their contribution, the Angels provide Mary's Shelter with a cash flow that helps us meet those end-of-the-month bills.
However, we still need the commitment of many more Angels. You can become one of these caring people by doing something as simple as giving up one 'burger' lunch a month to help save the life of a child, and forever change the life of a mother. Even this small but dependable monthly support would help immensely in covering our costs and would be very much appreciated.

Memorials
Show your concern for pregnant women in need by establishing a commemorative fund! A minimum donation of $250 (donations from various sources can be combined) will establish a fund in memory of a loved one, or in honor of someone special to you. This will purchase a 4" x 8" brick, with 3 lines of engraving. If the initial donations total $500 or more, the brick size will be 8" x 8", with 6 lines of engraving.
Bricks can also be purchased separately.
Any brick you purchase will be engraved in accordance with your instructions, either with your name or a message. You may choose from two sizes of bricks, with one to six lines of engraving, and can select a graphic from a gallery of stock graphics (see available graphics on left).

When our mothers prepare to leave the Shelter, they need:

Donations of used automobiles in good condition are always appreciated.

Naming Opportunities
There are many 'naming opportunities' still available within our facility. Your name, or that of your company or foundation, will be displayed as a lasting memorial of your commitment to caring for the least among us - the helpless unborn and their mothers. Choose Life tags
Please consider paying a little extra when you renew your car tags every year. For $50 extra, you can get a 'choose life' tag (sample picture on left); $41 of this amount will go to Baldwin County organizations offering alternatives to abortion. You can even 'personalize' the tag without paying an additional fee. Last year Mary's Shelter received over $7,000 from the State of Alabama thanks to this pro-life project!
