The September 29th presentation of Smoke on the Mountain at the South Baldwin Community Theatre was enjoyed by all. Many thanks to the Longhorn Steakhouse for providing delicious hors d'oeuvres, and to all our faithful supporters who were in attendance.
Thanks to all who participated in our Sixth Annual Golf Tournament, on August 26, 2011 at Craft Farms Golf Club. A great time was had by all.
Sponsorships were especially appreciated, at the Gold, Silver and Bronze levels.
Our Eight Annual Monte Carlo Night was a wonderful event! Many thanks to all who supported us by coming out for a good time. We are also very grateful to the two sponsoring parishes, Christ-the-King and St. Lawrence; to the many volunteers who worked so hard to make the night possible; to the great band members, who kept all entertained; and to the many donors of interesting and valuable auction items. Special thanks to the evening's sponsors: (Platinum) Cowles, Murphy, Glover & Associates; (Gold) Mr. and Mrs. Robert Barnett; (Silver) Peggy Devaney, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Kemper, Dr. and Mrs. Steven Kinsey, John and Anne McCormick, Shaw-GBB; (Friend) Fairhope Health & Rehab.
Bingo at St. Thomas-by-the-Sea: The 2011 bingo season was a record-breaker, and brought in over $19,000 for Mary's Shelter! First we need to express our deep appreciation to the parish for paying all expenses of running bingo; we also thank our hard-working volunteers, and also our faithful bingo players, many of whom are snowbird friends. We hope to see you again next winter.
